Here you get a calendar candle made of pure beeswax from Den Grønne Pulje - i.e. wax that comes from bee farms where neither pesticides nor antibiotics are used.
A super beautiful candle in all its simplicity and naturalness - and a much better calendar candle for the environment. Beeswax candles are a natural and chemical-free alternative to candles made of stearin and paraffin.
The number strip on this natural calendar candle is also free of heavy metals and solvents, so that no toxins are released during combustion.
This product is handmade in Aarhus, among others. of vulnerable citizens. Minor variations may therefore occur in the individual products. It has no effect on the quality of the light.
BISTAD is a social economy company where there is always room for "the weird". We clearly support that at Økofamily.
The calendar candle is 26 cm. high and about 2.2 cm. in diameter, and comes from beeswax collected from local beehives distributed over central Jutland - beeswax from Den Grønne Pulje.
When you buy this beeswax calendar candle, you make an important difference:

How to use your beeswax candle correctly and safely
- Continuously cut the wick down - this way the candle burns best and slowly, and you avoid the candle sooting.
- At the same time, you must avoid drafts in the room where the candle is.
- The wick should burn up by itself, but fall if a small piece comes off and lands in the light, it impairs the quality of the firewood.
In addition, pay attention to the fire authorities' instructions for burning candles:
- Never leave a lighted candle.
- Always place lit candles so that children and animals cannot knock them over.
- Always supervise candles.
- Always turn off candles when you go to bed or leave the home.
- Candles must be placed well away from fluttering curtains.
- Never have candles in children's rooms.
- Cake (especially tealights) can spill out and start burning
- Do not blow out candles, but suffocate the flame. For example with a pot that is placed over the candle(s) with the bottom in the air.
